Coco Banov are the founders of Global Celebration. After his risky escape from communist Bulgaria, Georgian had a radical encounter with Jesus in Southern California. Soon after, he led the Christian band Silverwind during the 80s, and along with his wife Winnie, was one of the principal writers and co-producer of famous children’s classics such as Music Machine, and Bullfrogs and Butterflies. Now, alongside Winnie, they teach about the finished work of the Cross and spread joy, freedom, and healing globally, ministering at conferences and churches worldwide. Their work also includes a three-year ministry and leadership training school, and missionary efforts among the poorest of the poor. They currently have 600 rescued children in their care on three different continents. Georgian is the author of “Joy!
